Legal Notice

Article 1 — Purpose of the website and scope of services
This website presents PAADO Architecture’s interior architecture, design and art direction activities. Services may concern private or professional spaces, individual projects or deployment across multiple sites, together with their associated spatial, furniture and visual elements.
Each commission is covered by a proposal specifying the agreed brief, scope of services, deliverables, fees and schedule. Depending on the project, it may include studies, design, material and furniture selection, art direction or construction monitoring. Only services expressly included in the contractual documents form part of the commission.
This information describes the general principles of working with PAADO. It does not replace or amend the contract agreed with the client, subject to mandatory legal provisions. Browsing the website or requesting information does not, in itself, constitute an order.
Article 2 — Project stages, approvals and changes
Design stages, approval procedures and the number of included adjustments are defined for each commission. Comments and approvals are recorded in writing to maintain a shared understanding of the project.
Changes to the brief, previously approved choices or scope of services may require the studies, budget and schedule to be reassessed. Where additional services are involved, their implications are set out in a written agreement or amendment before they are carried out.
Article 3 — Photographs and visualisations
Photographs, drawings, sketches and visualisations illustrate the projects and design intentions presented. Their nature and context are specified on the relevant pages. A visualisation is not a photograph of completed construction.
Images are presented in the context of each project. A design intention, a competition study and a completed project represent different stages; presenting them is not a commitment to reproduce an identical result in another location.
Article 4 — Plans and design documents
Published documents are not construction drawings and must not be used to carry out works without project-specific studies, checks and documentation. Perceived colours, materials and proportions may vary with the viewing medium.
Reliable dimensions cannot be inferred solely from the size of a drawing on screen. Adapting a design to another location requires checking measurements, building constraints and any necessary permissions.
Article 5 — Intellectual property and use of content
PAADO’s original plans, drawings, studies, spatial and graphic compositions, visualisations, texts and other creations are protected by copyright where the legal conditions for protection are met. Rights in contributions by photographers, artists and other contributors remain with their respective rights holders.
Displaying a creation on the website, delivering a document or paying for a service does not, by itself, constitute a general assignment of copyright. Any rights of use granted to the client are those expressly defined in their contract. Statutory exceptions remain applicable.
Unless a statutory exception or an existing authorisation applies, reproducing, adapting, distributing or exploiting protected content requires prior permission from the rights holder. Browsing the website grants no exploitation rights.
Article 6 — Rights of use and extension to other projects
The contract specifies the documents and creations that may be used, the permitted uses and, as appropriate to the commission, the projects or locations concerned, beneficiaries, territory, duration and financial terms of the right of use. It also sets out when that right takes effect, including conditions relating to payment of fees.
Permission granted for one project does not automatically extend to another location, medium, establishment or deployment across multiple sites. Any extension not included in the original agreement requires prior written agreement specifying its scope and, where applicable, additional remuneration.
Article 7 — Sharing, adaptations and respect for creations
Documents may be shared with contractors, craftspeople, suppliers or partners within the limits necessary for the project and the permissions provided in the contract. This does not grant them independent rights to reuse the material for other projects. Documents identified as confidential are shared under the agreed confidentiality terms.
Adaptations of protected creations must respect their authors’ rights and the contractual permissions. Signatures and credits must be retained in accordance with applicable rights. A version modified by a third party must not be presented as designed or approved by PAADO without its agreement.
Article 8 — Portfolio, credits and publication requests
Projects are presented in PAADO’s portfolio, website and communications in accordance with the permissions agreed with the client, confidentiality commitments and the rights of photographers and other authors. Particular care is taken with elements that could identify occupants or disclose private information.
Requests to publish or reuse content must specify the material concerned, the medium, the purpose and the proposed credits. Any permission granted is limited to the agreed use and does not remove the need to obtain the necessary permissions from other rights holders.
Credits identify the contributions of the relevant authors and collaborators. Permission requests or attribution corrections may be sent to contact@paado.fr, identifying the content and providing information useful for verification.
Article 9 — Website access and maintenance
PAADO aims to keep the information accurate and up to date. Errors or omissions may be reported to contact@paado.fr. The website may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons.
Visitors should use an up-to-date browser and must not disrupt the website, attempt unauthorised access or transmit malicious content.
Article 10 — Published information and liability
General information does not replace an individual assessment of the site, technical constraints and applicable rules. Nothing on this page excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Journal articles and references serve an informational and editorial purpose. They are not a technical diagnosis of a visitor’s property, an administrative permission or a personalised quotation.
Article 11 — External links and services
Links to social networks, email services and other websites lead to services operated by third parties. Their content and privacy practices are governed by those providers. Opening a link may cause the selected service to process personal data.
Links to PAADO must not imply a partnership that does not exist, misrepresent the content or infringe rights.
Visitors choose whether to use an external messaging service or social network. A link does not, by itself, imply that PAADO controls that service or endorses all its publications.
Article 12 — Enquiries and personal data
Jinhee KIM — EI, trading as PAADO Architecture, is responsible for processing information received to answer enquiries. Names, contact details and project information are used to handle the enquiry and, where relevant, prepare and manage a commission. Preparing a requested service relies on pre-contractual steps; other professional correspondence relies on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Only information necessary for the exchange is required. Without a way to reply or sufficient details, an enquiry may not be processed. Information is available to PAADO and the technical providers needed for correspondence. It is retained while the enquiry and its follow-up are handled and, where necessary, for periods required by legal obligations or the defence of rights. Selected messaging services also apply their own processing rules.
For an initial enquiry, avoid sending identity documents, bank details or other sensitive documents that are unnecessary for the request. Documents relevant to the project can be identified during subsequent discussions.
Article 13 — Exercising data rights

Article 14 — Cookies and audience measurement
